BOOKING PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY.

BOOKING: For all events; a non-refundable session retainer of 40% is required to book and hold the date for your event and serves as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future event upon the DJs approval. All remaining balances are due 30 days PRIOR to your Event.

PAYMENT: All events can be paid via cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, Debit/Credit Card. If a client pays by check, the check must clear and any uncleared check will have an additional charge of $35 to cover bank fees. If the client decides to pay via Debit/Credit Card there is a 4% processing fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

For weddings and events, if for any reason the Client cancels before the wedding date, the DJ will keep the event retainer fee paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. Any additional monies paid towards the remaining balance will be returned if notified a minimum of 60 days before the event. Cancellation must be made in sent in writing, by mail or e-mail. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, we will do our best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within six months of the original event date.  If we are not available for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.

If Lionizing Entertainment cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to DJ’s illness or emergency, then the DJ shall return the retainer fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract.
