Lionizing Entertainment was founded by Luis Andrade, who had a passion for entertainment from a young age. He tried his hand at creating a comedy YouTube channel, attempted stand-up comedy, and even went to school as a musical theatre major. Despite these failures, he knew he always had a knack for entertainment and found that DJing and MCing weddings was his true outlet. He started his career in the industry by doing professional wedding photography at the age of 16, and later transitioned into the DJ side of the industry.

Initially, Luis named his company "Luis Andrade Productions," but he felt that it was too self-centered. He wanted to create memorable events for others and rebranded as Lionizing Entertainment, inspired by the word "lionize," meaning to give a lot of public attention and approval to someone, treating them like a celebrity. This is exactly what Luis wants for his clients - to make them feel like the stars of their own event and give them the celebration they deserve.
